Energy-optimized operation of buildings and district heating networks

The research group "Process Management and Data Analysis" at the IOSB develops concepts and software solutions to monitor and optimize the energy consumption and operational management of larger properties and district heating networks. The objectives for real estate are the automated recognition of potential savings from measurement data (BMBF project EffMon) and optimized energy planning (BMWi project dynOpt-En). Web-based technologies are used to connect different data sources and to provide customized dashboard technologies and optimization tools.
