Raphaël Belossi obtained his engineering diploma in optics and physics in 2017 at the Institut d'Optique in France. He worked as an intern for 6 months at RISE Acreo in Kista, Sweden, on laser communication with electro-absorption modulators for space applications. He stayed in the field of optical interconnection in free space and joined the Adaptive Optics Group of Fraunhofer IOSB in Ettlingen, Germany, in 2018. He is mainly involved in lasers and optical setups.
