The Control Engineering Colloquium in Boppard is the annual meeting place of the control engineering community from the German-speaking region. It has the character and function of a forum in which the universities and research institutes of the German-speaking region can present and discuss the latest results and innovative ideas from research and development in the field of measurement, control and automation technology.

CC-KING invites you to the 1st AI Systems Engineering day for production on March 29, 2022 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Karlsruher Forschungsfabrik (Karlsruhe Research Factory). Topics are the introduction to the discipline and the process model, incl. examples from industry as well as a tour through the Karlsruher Forschungsfabrik.

The world's leading trade fair for quality assurance will take place again this year in Stuttgart from May 3 to 5, 2022. This time, Fraunhofer IOSB and its Visual Inspection Systems department will present the exhibit Purity – quality inspection of transparent objects.

Hannover Messe 2022 will take place from May 30 to June 2 under the motto “TRANSFORMING INDUSTRY TOGETHER”. Hannover Messe will be the world's first major industrial trade fair in June and, with its focus on Digitalization and Sustainability, will provide clear impetus for innovative, efficient production and climate protection. This year, the “Automation and Digitalization” and “Inspection and Optronic Systems” business units will again be presenting themselves at the trade show with a range of topics and in different contexts.

The GPEC® offers a versatile spectrum on topics of homeland security and combines your visit to the fair by a strong participation, training and the exchange of security authorities among themselves and with the manufacturers and solution providers serves. Fraunhofer IOSB is represented there with the exhibit CACTUS-3D. You will find us in hall 3 on the ground floor, booth B03.

As part of the BMBF-funded project W-Net 4.0, a platform for the operational optimization of water systems was created for the first time, which is also easy to handle for small water suppliers. The project partners 3S Consult, COS Geoinformatik, Fraunhofer IOSB and SchwarzwaldWasser will present the W-Net 4.0 platform to the professional audience on June 28, 2022.

The impulse lecture followed by a workshop will generate insights into this topic – especially for SMEs. The presentation and use of the laboratory prototype Smart Factory Web shows relevant opportunities to become part of these digital production marketplaces.

The fourth live webinar “MES in focus” with leading digitization experts will take place on Jul. 7, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Learn how to identify the challenges of industrial transformation and successfully implement your digitization projects.

CC-KING invites you to the 2nd AI Systems Engineering day for mobility on July 14, 2022 from 9 a. m. - 2 p. m. at the FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik. Topics are the introduction to AI for autonomous mobility systems like cars, drones or robots, incl. lecture from TAF-BW and a technical exhibit tour.

ACHEMA is the world's leading trade fair for the process industry and will take place from August 22-26, 2022 in Frankfurt am Main. Fraunhofer IOSB will be present as part of the Fraunhofer lighthouse project Waste4Future with our miniature version of a bulk material sorting system “TableSort” – as an example of a smart factory system that automatically sorts plastic waste.
