Emma Brambila is a postdoctoral researcher in the High-Resolution Quantum Systems group at Fraunhofer IOSB, where she works on quantum optical metrology.
She earned her B.Sc. in physics in 2016 from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and her M.Sc. in photonics in 2020 from Friedrich Schiller University Jena (FSU Jena). She is currently pursuing her doctorate at FSU Jena (expected completion in May 2026). Before joining Fraunhofer IOSB, she worked in the Optical Micromanipulation Group at the Institute of Physics at UNAM, in the Photonic Quantum Systems Department at Fraunhofer IOF, and in the Quantum Imaging Group at INSP at Sorbonne University.
