55,000 graduate students have chosen Fraunhofer as a top employer in the research sector. In a Trendence survey, we ranked first among graduates in computer science and second among engineering and natural scientists.

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is ranked number 2 among the most attractive employers in research. This is the result of a Trendence survey of 19,000 young professionals with up to 15 years of professional experience.

Universum Student Survey

In a survey conducted by the consulting firm Universum, Fraunhofer was voted one of the preferred employers in the scientific community. Fraunhofer is ranked 3rd among students of natural sciences.

Universum Young Professionals

Fraunhofer is the 6th most attractive employer for Young Professionals from the natural sciences, according to the Universum survey of around 14,000 professionals.

Glassdoor

Since 2009, Glassdoor has been presenting the "Best Employer" award to companies whose employees enjoy working for them. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is in 19th place in the ranking of the best rated employers.

HR Excellence in Research

In December 2017, the European Commission awarded the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft the EU logo "HR Excellence in Research", thus recognizing the outstanding integrated human resources management at Fraunhofer.

The seal is being awarded for the first time this year by the employer review platform kununu and recognizes employers who receive particularly positive reviews from their employees regarding work-life balance.
