6th European Machine Vision Forum: Where research meets industry

The 6th European Machine Vision Forum will take place this year in Wageningen (Netherlands) from October 12-13, 2023.

The European Machine Vision Forum is an annual event of the European Machine Vision Association - EMVA. It aims to foster interaction between the machine vision industry and academic research to learn from each other, discuss the latest research results as well as application problems, learn about new application areas, and discuss research collaboration between industry and academic institutes. The overall goal is to accelerate innovation by putting new research results into practice more quickly.

The forum is targeted at scientists, development engineers, software and hardware engineers, and programmers from research and industry.

Program

Vision solutions provide great value to end users, but must also perform well in real-world environments such as agriculture, environmental monitoring, industrial and medical applications. Depending on the application, specific challenges arise regarding the variability of the vision task as well as possible disturbances or operating conditions such as large disturbance types, variations of the objects to be inspected or unknown camera positions.

Fraunhofer IOSB will be represented with two talks:
