Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation IOSB Fraunhofer IOSB offers training courses for TRM4 on a regular basis. These courses are intended for beginners and combine lectures with hands-on exercises. Topics typically covered in the two-day training course include:
- basics of range performance assessment and TRM4,
- mager performance assessment in the thermal infrared,
- imager performance assessment in the visible and short-wave infrared spectrum,
- analyzing performance-limiting factors using TRM4 output data,
- diagnostics functions and troubleshooting in TRM4,
- performance assessment of systems for aerial imaging and subpixel target detection,
- current TRM4 developments.
