The project „Interoperable Semantic Data Fusion for automated generation of view-based process control visualization“ (briefly: IDA) deals with the interoperability of pro-cess visualization as an interface between man and machine.
The project started in 2009 and ended in 2011. It was done in cooperation by cjt Systemsoftware AG and Fraunhofer IOSB. It was funded by the federal ministry of economics and technology (ID: KF2074702ED9).
The goal was to create a more efficient engineering process and to improve and simplify processes during the operation phase. Process visualization is therefore generated automatically out of existing information. It supports different views on the data. Existing data are interpreted and semantically linked. This reduces the manual and error prone effort of engineering and increases the quality of the results.
