TableSort® – bulk goods sorter “to go”

The miniature version of a bulk material sorting system: The name TableSort® is definitely a program, since the system actually fits on a table in terms of size. Thanks to its modular and compact design, the demonstrator can be shown particularly well at trade fairs and conferences. In addition, even very small quantities of goods can be sorted very well. Enquiries about sorting options can be made directly at the customer's premises, which greatly reduces costs compared to a large system.

HANNOVER Trade Fair 2020

HANNOVER Trade Fair was actually scheduled to open its doors on 20 April 2020:

„Integration of administrative shell and OPC UA Factory Connector (IDS)“

Marketplaces for industrial production need to model not only the capabilities of the smart factories involved, but also their supply chains in order to guarantee selection criteria such as fair and sustainable production and raw material supply in accordance with defined eco-labels. This requires an exchange of data between the participants in the supply chains, which in turn requires a usage control. Fraunhofer IOSB demonstrates an implementation of such requirements in the open architecture of the IIC Testbed Smart Factory Web and demonstrates the interaction of Industry 4.0 specifications for the management shell and connector technologies of the International Data Spaces (IDS). Our miniature sorting system TableSort® serves as an example of a smart factory web.

Welcome to the 1st IDSA Virtual Expo

23 member companies inform you how confident and secure data exchange can lead to more innovation, efficiency and growth in your business.

The specialists will share their know-how with you on the secure exchange of data - both at the stand with virtual contact facilities and in online live sessions from 27 to 30 April 2020.

BAU Munich 2019/ Jan. 14 to 19

Living spaces of the future: digital - sustainable - smart

Digitisation, climate change, scarcity of resources and lack of housing - these trends require society, business and research alike to transform their practices. The construction industry is also called upon to develop innovative and sustainable solutions in order to meet the constantly growing demands on buildings. In this context, it is becoming increasingly important to think and act in a networked manner across all sectors.
At the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems, member institutes of the Fraunhofer BAU Alliance will present interdisciplinary solutions and systems to actively help shape the "living spaces of the future" - digital, sustainable and smart.

Our contribution

At BAU 2019, the Fraunhofer IOSB and three partner institutes will present the project results of "BauCycle" at the Fraunhofer joint stand. In this Fraunhofer joint project, a recycling concept has been developed to return sand and gravel to the material cycle and make them usable again, for example for building construction. In this context, our exhibit TableSort ®, the system for sorting bulk material, can be seen there.
