Blister inspection with VisioChrom HR

Task

The special quality requirements of the pharmaceutical industry demand reliable and accurate systems for automatic visual inspection of blisters for dragees or tablets.
 

Solution

In cooperation with the companies Bayer HealthCare and Uhlmann-Pac-Systeme the image evaluation system VisioChrom HR was developed for this purpose. It is now in use worldwide.
 

Fields of application

  • Double-sided inspection of the blisters before and after sealing
  • Inspection of the product for colour and shape characteristics
  • High spatial resolution of 50 pixels per mm*mm
  • Automatic inspection of up to 1000 objects per second
